Membership of the band is open to anyone. This includes persons wishing instruction in piping and drumming and experienced players.

The band is affiliated to the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association and at local level Ayrshire, Dumfriesshire and Galloway Branch of the R.S.P.B.A. At present we are a Grade 3 band within the R.S.P.B.A. grading system.
